these chubby little things (sparrows) hang out by the droves in my back yard....I didn't know what they were...

It's legal to kill these guys and starlings in the US. The only non-game birds you can legally off. These little treats are killing our bluebirds and endangering them. They like to raid their nests and kill the babies.:evil:

Yup, place them into a garbage bag and then run the car exhaust into the bag for a few minutes....that seems to pacify them good.

We were looking for eagles at Reelfoot Lake and passed this place along the lake. we stopped and fired off a few snapshots before he scurried up the tree...

This was in Kentucky, right? This makes it a really cruel feeder. It's just mean to lull them into a feeling of safety by giving them a comfy rocker right before you shoot them with the slingshot and eat them for dinner!

Actually, Reelfoot Lake is in Tennessee... and my father-in-law lives in Indiana and he's the one who likes to hunt from his kitchen window - so I wouldn't be picking on Kentucky, here - weez civilized aroun these parts!!

Tennessee, Kentucky, Southern Indiana...it's all the same! In fact, isn't there some cutesy name that they call Southern Indiana as it relates to Kentucky? I can't remember it.
