I'm not thrilled with the Ni-MH of the 1D, I wish Canon would go Li-Ion across the board like Nikon.

They do seem to last a long while though. At least on the 1DMKII's/MKIIn's. As long as you take the proper care for the battery.

No joke. These guys are serious collectors. I couldn't imagine owning the number of primes Dante has. Maybe when I hit the lottery. :)

I have 4 soon to be 5 lenses. That is all! Sheesh :)

I wish that the grips available would have an option to use the 1 series batteries. Bet loads of pros do to that have a 1 series and a 5D.

I figure you'd need to have another type of grip to do that.

I figure you'd need to have another type of grip to do that.

and the different batteries and camera work on different voltages, so some kind of resistor or the like would be needed. Would also make it much heavier. but still, this was one of the reasons I used for justifying the trade.

I dont miss, missy! LOL. Oh, and the abuse has not even been planned. I'm gonna wait. Revenge is best served up cold in double helpings. First I have to make it, then chill it. I just plugged in the blast freezer to 0 deg kelvin!!! :):)

5 L primes when you get the 50 1.2. That's a whole lot more than me. I have no prime L lenses. Someday, I'm thinking the 135L, but not until I get the rest paid for. :)

Well Dante, I was seriously worried that young and ambitious prince Tareq might throw you off your royal throne, after your reckless 5D adventure! ;)
Now I am relieved to see that everything is back in order.. :D
