I shoot some Thai Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I usually focus and wait until some action happens but by then I will sometimes be out of focus.

He seems to know when the good punches are going to come about a minute before hand. Also, he uses the best equipment in the world with the fastest autofocus as seen in the attached image, which includes the cover of the video game for which he provided the cover image. Dwight McCann
