Hi Teejay,

IIRC these would all have been @ ISO1600. Lighting at these games is very good for the most part. I've not checked the exif again but I think Stamford bridge lets me get away with 1/640s. MK Dons I can get away with 1/500s.

With the sun going down early now most of my shooting is under lights, if I'm lucky the 1st half hour on a Saturday afternoon is in sunlight then it's a matter of cranking up the ISO to keep the SS consistant.

Hope this helps a bit ?

Marc, what ISO were you shooting with?

I recently took some (none-sport) pics in awfull light, with some flash assist.

At ISO 800 on my 20D they came out not-too-bad, but my 1D (MkIIN) seemed to make a right "pigs ear" of them at the same ISO. Just wondered how you found night shots in difficult lighting?

Cheers

TJ

That 300 is crying out to be used now ! In fact I could have made good use of it tonight ;)

I had a play with the demo of NN, then realised they wanted payment for the version that doesnt save a watermark over any images adjusted with it. That's fair enough of course but for someone like me that will maybe use the software once in a blue moon it's not worth paying out for just now.

On the resized images I have to say I didnt notice alot of difference between the products...but thats to a very untrained eye!

Thanks for the comment Paul. You know what that does look like the start of a 'muffin top' on young Frank :D

Marc - loving these - some great images. 4 and 5 do it for me (Off at a tangent, is that a hint of a love handle there on Mr Lampard!?)

How often do you adjust the NI settings. I always run them through on auto and have NO IDEA what the different settings do?

I was just thinking before I ran across this thread it would ne nice to have a sticky of how to manipulate NI or NN...
