Hello all,

Sorry about some basic questions but since my last P&S was the Casio QV-3000EX 3.2MP that got broken about 3 years ago, I have very little clue

I searched and found a lot of info about the s400 but didn't find a real answer :)

I'm thinking of getting a used s400 for my kids, 7 and 8 years old, for xmas so they can get use the idea of taking pictures and hopefully get them interested in photography later on in life.

I've read some reviews that saw that the s400 is a good camera and it also takes CF cards which I prefer.

I'd to buy used to keep the cost down because they may "forgot" or drop it and I don't have to worry about expensive repair or replacement.

For those with s400 out there, do you think the body will survive the usage from kids?

Also, how is the menu and ease of use? It is easy enough for the kids to figure out on their own?

I found a couple from local seller for around $125, do you think it's a good deal?

Thanks

:)

I got offers for a used G2 and a used SD200 and don't know if one is better than the other. About $35-40 differences but I'm afraid the G2's size is too big.

There are REALLY alot of choices.
