That was the best way I could think of to describe it, it seems fitting...

Shot this recently on an NC beach just after sunrise, comments/criticism welcome.

Scott,

This is just great. Deep, rich colors, lines, and textures. I love the way the blue cast of the foam at top compliments the orange light. Excellent capture. You ever shoot OBX? /Dan

I like it. It is a simple composition, and yet there is plenty of interest and colour.

Scott, I'm loving your work mate.
You are getting some absolutely stunning textures in your foregrounds. Beautiful lighting, colours and contrast, well done, and thanks for sharing.

Love it.

Fantasic colours, simple shapes and textures. Dynamic diangonals.

Well done.

Thanks, Dan... now I'm not sure what you mean by OBX? The Outerbanks? If so, I don't shoot there much as its a long haul from where I live (Raleigh, NC)... but I'd love to get out there sometime. This was shot at Sunset Beach, NC very close to South Carolina.
