Do you just prefer the look of the color PP , or is it the overall image you prefer (pose, light, crop, ect...)

Actually I prefer the second and third best.. They appeal more to me.. But you may want to crop the sock out of the third.. It's a bit out of place..

Nice work!

Yeah I have to agree w/ the crop... It may have worked if the socks were off too, giving the same tonal value of the skin..
I actually like the crop on the first image a lot... I may apply it to the others and see how they look.

I like #1 best. I like the color, but it might look good in b&w, too. I think its the pose and the crop that I appeals to me.

Really like them - #1 is good but #4 and #5 especially are really good, imho. Different crop works well with the PP.

Thank you very much for the comments...
I took what I learned on #1 and "tweaked" it a bit more when I did #4 & #5.
I'll have to revisit #1 and apply the same crop & PP from 4&5.

Thanks Again...

GCRollo - I really like the pose and framing on number 1. But with that style of tattoo, i think it should show the colours. For the Maori/Tribal/Celtic styles id say B+W everytime.

Really like the new edits too.

Good job!

Thanks Bro..

Although most Traditional and Neo-Traditional Japanese tattoos poses a lot of color, Mine does not. Only the Flames and Cherry Blossoms are in color. Kind Of like a selective color image where only the red shows (But not stupid :))... I have a little over 20hrs in this sleeve and about 6-8hrs. to go. Then I'll be starting the "Water" sleeve on the left that will include the Lotus & Koi among other symbolism.

I'm a big fan of the Laws of Thermodynamics myself...

Law I:
The increase in the internal energy of a thermodynamic system is equal to the amount of heat energy added to the system minus the work done by the system on the surroundings.

Law II:
The entropy of an isolated system not in equilibrium will tend to increase over time, approaching a maximum value at equilibrium.

And my personal favorite... ;)

Law III
As a system approaches absolute zero of temperature all processes cease and the entropy of the system approaches a minimum value.

WOW.... Thanks Everyone for Your feedback and kind comments...
I'm real happy w/ how this series has progressed and much of that progression has been a direct result of the feedback I've received here...

As a matter of fact, I'm so pleased w/ how these have turned out that I'm going to have it sent off to be printed on Kodak Metallic Paper.. Should give a great "pop" to the PP.

Now I have to make a final decision on the arrangement.
Which arrangement & Keyline color to you think works best?
