The United State Park Police (posted here) also provide MedEvac, primarily to federal park lands in Maryland, with 3 helicopters, Eagle 1, Eagle 2,and Eagle 3. The helicopter pictured here is a Bell 412. Both agencies have their aircraft set up for multi-mission use; medical interiors, paramedic staffing, hoist capability, NightSun, and foward-looking infrared. Canon EOS Rebel XT

The Maryland State Police was the first agency in the nation to provide helicopter medevac service, and between the two agencies the state of Maryland has possibly the best medevac system in the United States. The MSP typically transports over 5,000 patients per year and provides their service free of charge. Good info! And thanks for the other comments guys. -Adam
