Made up from 11 shots taken from Doan, a peak somewhere near the middle of the Mourne Mountains. The Silent Valley Reservoir is visible on the right.

That is very impressive Pete, and not just for the seamless stitching, but also for the composition and colours.

Pete it has all been said before but this shot is fantastic. Not only is the stitch perfect but the colours and composition are first class also :)
If you dont mind me asking what software are you using to get this image?
Cheers Ricky

Um, I'm not sure what you're asking, but all my infrared stuff is taken in-camera on an IR modified camera.

Infact, yes. This scene had an very large dynamic range around the whole 360°, and also with the extreme variations in light between the shadows and bright areas where the sun was shining through the clouds, it would've been impossible without using multiple bracketed exposures.

It's made up from 11 triple bracketed exposures, each of which is merged into a high dynamic range image using Photomatix, and then these are all stitiched together in CS2. Extensive tonal and contrast adjustments are then made to the full pano in CS2 to fine tune the image until it's done.

I'd really like to see a larger version of this shot. It looks great.
