Our local car club held a Toys for Tots drive and one of the members volunteered his band to play. This is my first time shooting something like this. Any helpful tips are welcome!

I think you did as good as possible given the lighting ... although perhaps a little fill flash on some would have worked. Outdoors with no good stage lighting is the toughest. I will be shooting a Toys for Tots benefit on Friday that will be three country singer/songwriters and I expect it will be well lighted ... and warm! :-)

It's great that the band could play for the fund raiser...if your photos would publish in a local media...more recognition would be offered to the cause...
