I dropped one of my NP-E3's and broke the plastic housing (detachable part on the end). I was hoping someone out there might have an old NP-E3 battery that doesn't charge anymore and might be interested in parting with it. Actually, all I really need is the end part that comes off with the two small phillips head screws. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price for the part, and cover the shipping.

Anyone who might be able to help me, please contact me via e-mail, or just answer this thread.

P.S. for those not in the know - the NP-E3 is for the 1D series camera.

Thanks!
-Jim

Drag to hear it. Might want to post this in the sell or freebee x-mas thread on the sell forum.

Oh, canon could ship one of these out in no time for a mere pittance I would imagine.

Or perhaps you can take it from an aftermarket battery for $20...along with the higher capacity cells, of course.:)

the part was $33 from Canon. (A bit pricey, but at least I know it will fit correctly).

Thanks!

Sure wish that included the cell. I would be stocking up.
