Great minds think alike.....I was thinking a very similar word: "torque", like to torque something down (a nut) or someone up (with a wrench.....a "spanner" as they call it on the Islands, both Caribbean and British).

Then, there is "toque", a type of headgear used by Canadian natives and bank robbers.
