I like it, but I think this would benefit from a levels adjustment (for contrast) and a crop of the left to centre the image (rules are meant to be broken!)
B&W is not as easy as it looks as I've been finding out.. you really need contrast to pull it off, but keep your highlights from over-exposing.

Full contrast on a freshly calibrated monitor here... Should I post my PS settings? ;)

I also thought about a crop but it looked to mirrored to me.

I think it misses a first plan, the wall of Cologne Cathedral is interesting it self, but without some contrasty plan in front of it, it's flat somehow. So the wall it self coud be a good background for someting else ...

Viewed on a few calibrated monitors, it's lacking contrast ;)
