My 2nd L arrived today! and what an L!

The Canon 500 F4 IS, and it's all your guys fault.

Congrats on the fine pick up. It's not a bad lens at all. And while I don't desire to rain on your parade, I must say something that might hurt your feelings, so please have a seat: PetKal congratulated you but in reality, he was yawning -- I know him too well. He's really not impressed one bit. Now OTOH, had you gotten yourself a 180 EF Macro and grabbed some birding shots with it, that would be a whole other story...
