Hockey -- bantams

Bantams are 11-14 year olds. Hillsborough v Winston Salem, 4-3.

I had a tough time with the white balance in this game. Shot my usual gray ice shot, set custom W-B, but most came out with pinkish tinge and a few came out purple.

Great shots, 6 and 7 are my favorites. Definitley some issues with the white balance. I also have had erratic results when setting a custom white balance.

I've given up on setting a custom white balance... I go AWB and fix it in Photohop.

Nice pictures though.. I love #6!

Nice stuff. I thought your WB was off untill I saw the white on the jerseys...good job!

900, VT -- thanks. #6 isn't bad, but 8 is my favorite. it's my never-before hockey photo.

superdiver -- thanks. I adjusted them to get the jerseys white and the shark logo neutral gray. Even so, they all look odd.

The lighting was a mix of sodium vapor and flourescent, and one side had daylight shining in. very weird.
