How strange! www.7dayshop.com (external link) don't seem to sell Canon NB-5L replacement batteries. Prices look good for others though. Guess I'll just have to keep looking...

Sorry did not check on specific battery.:o
I have not used them myself but try... http://www.picstop.co.uk …mera-Battery---Equivalent (external link) ... they have that model (equivalent) at £9.90 inc VAT.:)

Max
There's no such thing as a bad photo, just the wrong audience.
EQUIPMENT: Canon Powershot S3 IS, 2x Transcend 2GB x150 SD, 2x 4GB Class 4 Dane-Elec SDHC, LensMate 52mm Adapter Tube and lots of stuff to hang on it.
A couple of flashes and a couple of strobes. My other camera is a Sony DSC-P200.

Thanks for the suggestion. Their version is quoted at only 550mAh instead of Canon's 1120, so not perfect! Obviously a lot cheaper so could go for it, but I suspect that there are places out there doing versions with the full charge capacity. I'll do a bit more investigation I think.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Discovered a couple of other options now, both with full 1120mAh spec and 2 years warranty. So, superficially they look OK. Just in case anyone's interested, these are:

Amazon.co.uk do them at £9.99 (made by "InoV8") but do charge a ridiculous £5 p&p.

DigiprintUK.com do them for £14.99 but charge a more reasonable £1.50 p&p.
