Anyone have either of these books and would you reccomend one over the other? thanks so much.

Hi,

In my opinion, for a well written book on photographic technique with the 30D, David D Busch's book is way out in front. The book by Charlotte K Lowrie is similar but I think is rather superficial in content. If you're just looking for a book which explains the workings of the camera in a more readable way than the Canon Instruction Manual, the Magic Lantern book ("Canon EOS 30D") by Rob Sheppard wants some beating.
