Lake District 06

Hi All,

For the first time ever I took my camera away from a race circuit and pointed it at some nature. We needed some landscape shots to put on the wall in the house so being a skinflint I didn't want to pay for someone elses!

All taken using a 20D and 100-400 lens. No tripod cos it didn't turn up in time...

And I discarded the shot with the car going over the bridge. I didn't think it looked quite in keeping!

Nice series, just proves you can use a tele zoom for landscapes

My favourites are #2 and #7 although I can't help thinking the horizon on #7 is jst a tad off

The horizon probably is a tad off. Mainly because the wind was so strong I had no choice but to develop a permanent lean to one side! If you leant into the wind you could guarantee it would suddenly drop leaving you lurching around like a drunk... Which I wasn't At the time...
