Shot during evening. Used CP and a darkened glass for upper half. Your C & C are very much welcome.

The image has gorgeous tones ... but feels top heavy because of how deep the sky went. If you just deepened the water a bit, in Photoshop, it would be terrific.

After looking at this picture for a few minutes, my eyes settled on the small patch of sunlit trees on the far shore. On balance, I like this image, although my initital feeling was that the sky was almost too blue.

I would probably say the opposite. The sky looks unnaturally saturated. As opposed to deepening the water to match the sky, I would back down the sky to make it look natural. /Dan

I agree, it's so bright that it hurts your eyes.

The sky is a tad bit too saturated. Also, you have some dust on your sensor, you may wish to clone it out.

Always remember that the water/refelections should never be brighter than the sky as light is lost as it bounces off of, or is absorbed by, things. So yes it is a bit top heavy I am affraid :|

While the sky appears more normal, I think that I prefer the original, because the lighter sky just above the trees in the second takes away some of the impact of the trees. I feel that the first is more like a painting - a representation of real scenery, but with artist's license.
