Dec 07, 2006 15:34 | #19 Thanks, Moppie. I have so many pictures printed of each child, my children will always have many copies of their pictures growing up. I have spent more on copies than on toys, I think. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

Half the shots I ever took had my thumb across the lens...and i had a funny little AGFA that took a flash cube like a block of ice, and each cube gave 4 flashes then you threw it out. Canon 6D

More info | Dec 07, 2006 20:13 | #21 Well, I believe my sister and her Greek fiance will be visiting. Which is always fun, because his accent is so cool, and they always give me good stuff for Christmas. My other sister will be picked up from college tomorrow by my mother(who works at the college she goes to). My youngest sister will be here as always. I don't believe anyone is getting an animal for Christmas or anything insanely super cool.(four wheelers or a golden retriever) I know I'm getting a new Nintendo DS(white) and some fly games. Probably some clothes, like always. They'll be nice clothes, but my sisters will get cooler clothes because they went out with my mom for Black Friday. I step-father will probably get a piece of farmign equipment, my mom will get some extravegant large present, so will my little sister. I'm also getting the 50 1.8. I'll probably get some semi-large surprise gift from my mom that I didn't expect, but not as big as my younger sister's present because she's hard to shop for, so we just get her a lot of exsensive gifts. My grandmother has a fair few of the family pictures in her albums, and they are great to look through, they go back about 75 years. The scariest things in that album are my taste in 80's clothes and hairstyles Talk about big hair and weird shirts...Christmas always has really happy memories for me - it has always been a time of joy and introspection,. I love spoiling my loved ones, especially the small loved ones, and I love the fellowship. It also usually involves a long journey in winter time, that always leaves me feeling excited, as we are all going on an expedition to a special destination. Sari's Christmas seems wonderful, I hope it is everything you could wish for. And Suzy's family Christmas should be a special time with all your family together again . Keiffer, I hope things work out for you and your son. I can't imagine how hard it must be. above all, i hope everyone has a special time, in whatever way, and that 2007 brings happiness and prosperity. Oh man, my dad and I found a huge box of them and tried to short circuit them so you could get one super bright flash out of it and it dies. They were inredibly bright. It was like burning magnesium. Crazy. Danielle

Dec 08, 2006 06:47 | #27 Liza, I hope your mother does well. I had some larger than really small ones removed 4 years ago and I was fine, but the idea of a mastectomy looms always. So, please, take care of her and I know I was grateful there is modern medicine to help take care of such things now. She may be in pain after the surgery, but a nice warm bed is so nice. Dec 08, 2006 06:48 | #28 Maureen, great tree. Haven't gotten ours up quite yet. The kids made a mess in the room again so that's going to have to wait, again. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

It is so stressful to deal with serious illness, but with luck and good care, I'm sure she will be just fine. Canon 6D
