I like it either way. The moon doesn't look fake, especially since it was in that phase the last couple of nights. Had you not mentioned you added it, I would have thought it was really there, although you're facing to the northeast, and the moon wouldn't really be in that position this time of the year. haha

Anyway, that's a GREAT location you shot the bridge from, and the colors are fantastic.

Thanks a lot for that comment JT. I shot the moon last night(i'd been meaning to from the past couple of days actually) and also luckily the sky was a bit hazy last night which compliments the haze over the GG bridge in the shot.

The GG bridge was shot around 3 months ago so this would be a composite of the east coast and west coast lol! I also added an orange/red cast over the moon in CS2 so that it doesnt look out of place in the shot. Thanks again!

I cann`t remember if i have seen it before (probably have, superb memory you see) but it looks pretty good to me,nice shot and good PP work.
Love that red colour/light that comes off the bridge, iluminating the whole picture.

About the moon....you see....thats what happens when we have some spare time and its pi**ing outside.

No seriously....its a better job than what i would`ve done.

Thanks Dimitri  I agree about that last part- in my case im waiting for the darn snow to fall here.. so that i can go out and get some shots.

I guess this shot would've been lost in the bunch of Golden gate photos i posted after my CA trip(along with Yosemite and mono lake). I was lucky to get this shot as i had just 2 days in SF and the first day it was completely fogged out. Thanks for looking and commenting again :)

Very nice! I really like the colors in the sky. I commend you on putting the moon in there. Looks as though it really was in the photo when you originally photographed it.

Looks very nice. Great exposure. Did you get such an even exposure from the camera or was there a lot of post processing involved?

Thanks, Apart from the moon composite there wasn't any pp'ing involved for the shot apart from running curves to improve the contrast. I had shot several frames as the light was quickly changing and its in this just one shot that i got a lovely combination of the blue and reds together.

That is absolutley stunning!!! I've always loved the GG ever since my father told me how it looked from the hospitol ship. The shot is beautiful with or without the moon. Here's a shot of her younger sister Big Mac (she's like 1 mile between spans). I know it's nowhere near the quality of your shot,,, I don't get up to the straits as muxh as I'd like. Enjoy! :)
