I usually resize to 700-800 pixels, sharpen, then use the "Save for web" in PS. Then adjust the quality slider to about 100Kb or below so I can attach them or link to them if I need to. You can't attach images over 100KB in size.
IMAGE POSTING RULES

When I post a series from a car meet, I usually attach 2, then link to the rest (up to 6 more) so if the server is down, at least the attached ones will display.

love it...someday when i have money...that swap will be mine, but with all the goodies.

though i cant decide
350ci 8.5:1 CR, twin turbo, afr heads/comp cam turbo cam combo
or
383ci 11.5:1CR, with the afr/comp cam combo

oh well, i have time. still another year or so in school, then i need a house with a garage (as my boss gets ticked with a non-running car at the shop unless its a customers). i cant build it there. some day

My vote is for 383, my favorite number since '69. ;)

ls7 is too high of a compression ratio to get big power with a tt setup...atleast without HUGLY building the motor.

I just don't understand crazy HP.

I had a '02 Firehawk with 383RWHP and it was powerful enough for anybody. A FD that weighs a good 600LBS less with a stock LS2 would be on par. Anything more then that would be downright scary.

But I'm the kinda guy who loves MX-5's and M3's, so I guess I like balance more then anything.

thats whats so awesome about the fd. with an ls aluminum motor, you only add 300lbs to the car, and with the cab forward design the balance is like 51/49. with some nice meats on the back it hooks well.

but i am somewhat addicted to power. my neon is pushing out 400hp/400torque...and its not fast enough

There is no such thing as 'to much power.' I find myself begging for more week after week. I had a bike that was my daily cruiser and was making 105hp and 130trq, and was capable of high 11's and even low 11's with a smaller rider. After about 3 months i started looking at nitrous.......FYI it was a '02 Yamaha RS Warrior with some goddies.

And about the FD hooking well. It is basically a stock LS1 with some 275 meats, and it has trouble all the way through 1st and most of 2nd. It takes some pretty serious suspension tweaking and atleast a 315 for something making more power. Though the thing drives like a dang go-kart and is extremely balanced, and when it decides not to be good with the road it still goes forward.

I thought the swap actually lessend the over all weight ? I hear a lot of confliting things about this.

I prefer balance over extreme powr personally but anywho, i used to own an Aristo 300V (2JZGTE Lexus GS in Japan) pushing around 350hp with just basic aftermarket parts and stock turbo; and i thought that was more than enough for daily use.

then I had a chance to drive a AMG SL65 on the highway. After i slowed down to about 40km/h, I hit pedal to the metal in this tunnel on the "wangan (famous tunnel in tokyo where everyone speeds)" and all i could say was "HOLY S*** " I remember easily passing a BNR32 GT-R and he couldnt catch me. Now, keep in mind this was while I had traction control on (the owner told me to keep it on since i'm just going to waste rubber) some classical music, ice cold AC blowing, and seats massaging my butt.

ive been in a car that has more power before but with compromises. Like no AC, track only suspension, car not starting everyday, and yada yada yada. But the AMG...it was insane how this car put power to the ground. it just sped up like nothing...and i cant think of anyone who would NEED that kind of power from stock. but I can see why that much power (especally torque on those AMG SLs) are addicting.

needless to say, my Aristo felt extremely slow after that. and sorry to get off track of photography :p

You have it exactly right. After driving something faster you get into what you had it seems very very slow. I love the feel of speed and the feeling you get when planed into the seat. The adrenaline you get from speed can become very addicting and in the medical sense can become worse then cigerettes. You get onto a such for something even more powerful then what you currently have. I though my bike was fast, right up until the point i rode in a C6 Zo6, which still has all the ammentaties and then some. They can eat Ferraris and Lambos for lunch in just about every department, and this RX7 is almost as good as one of those. IT doesnt have A/C though.....still dont understand that move.
