Question for 20D users, do you leave your noise reduction on all the time or just when shooting high iso? does it reduce sharpness in day light and bright seens with low iso?
TIA

All the time. And it only really kicks in with long exposures (that's why it's called "Long Exposure Noise Reduction").

I think on the 20D, when it kicks in, it doubles the time of the exposure, so it may or may not slow you down. For what it's worth, if you shoot RAW shooting without noise reduction and reducing any noise in post processing may result in less noise in the final product.

I've never heard of this feature, but I own a 30D. Is it a feature on the 30D as well?

Thanks!
