Perhaps just a slight tweak to the gamma settings in levels would tone it down slightly.

...I too tried these last sunday...but I reached quite late and the shots came out quite quite dark...What time did u shoot these and what were the camera settings??? Moreover the kind of reflections that u capture are 
U've made me believe that I got to give it one more try...
