I've read your posts and what folks have to say about you, you are a good guy. I'm sad you are selling your camera. I almost thought of making the switch with you, but I can't justify the better camera until I have at least SOME skill. I wish you the best guy. Please don't rush into anything too quickly. I don't know you, so maybe I am way out of line, but this seems so sudden, so startling, and risky to lay with something you love so much (photography) and I just hope for your sake it really works out well. May I also suggest that next time you rent? My best to you.

Ditto's. After reading the whole thread, I have to say the same thing. There are too many "friends" let alone friends of friends, who have good intentions and then things turn sour. My wife watches every one of those court TV case junk programs, they are full of deals that go bad. Be VERY cautious. I know, I know, it couldn't happen to you, and I am wasting my breath, or typing, but it does happen all the time. Be careful!!!!!!!! I will say you have guts and you are a gambler. Ever consider professional poker?

Ron, I hope that if you do this venture that you stick with it longer than you have had any piece of gear. its pretty easy to live at home under mom's wing and let things flow like the tide, but there is not much growing when nothing is ventured and nothing is risked. Growth can be painful.

You get pissed at people for tossing your words right back at you as carelessly as you tossed them out the first time. Then you get all pissy when you hear them again. I think most, as I do,find it humorous when you try to defend your silly statements. Think you would be better of ribbing wise, to not try to justify your rationale. Who is really to blame for your discomfort in this situation? Calico, Blonde others? I think it's you.

Go make something. Build it with your own talents. Take a chance. I for one am pulling for you!
