Did you pick the 5th at noon? I think I picked the same day, but 2:34 pm EST, which is 11:34 here!

Too funny! It looks like we'll both be out of luck at this rate!!

Hahahaha.

With his recent defense of the 5D, I am guessing he is already thinking about going back with his "ex" lol

From what I've seen from the 1DMKIIN's, only a new camera could come out to replace it, it is the best out there.

Yeah, I DID! (people in Oregon obviously appreciate the fast speed with which the NY branch of POTN breezes through their gear...)

So true!

My new theory is the longer the shipping is delayed, the greater the frustration will become and thus the quicker it'll be gone. So if it's not delivered tomorrow, I'm going to have to revise my prediction.

Ah crap I think I am going to start saving $500 a month just so I can get me a 1D MKII N to see what all the fuss is all about. Nah I am to cheap, I'd just buy a 1D MKII since I know how to use the 10D it shouldn't be that much of a learning curve ;)

Unless someone wants to send me theirs so I can try it out. I "swear" I will give it back LMAO.

Aren't you still waiting for your lens that you ordered somewhere around last Aug? If you order yourself a 1DMkIIN now, you might get it by next year sometime and have your credit card all paid off by the time it arrives ;)

Off-Off topic ... a little ... but somehow related:
Dante - If I recall correctly, you SOLD your 1DsMark-II for a 5D, but lo-&-behold,
your Gear List shows it's back, and 5D gone ... !!!

What the heck is going on ? ... 've been away for sometime... now I'm back.

Having the 1DsMkII in his signature is just a security blanket. I also heard he printed a full size picture of that body and cut out the middle and affixed it on one of his lenses just so he wouldn't have to use his inhaler as much.

Dante, there's no "link". It's just not worth it to me. I've never liked it.

Now Ronald, you've had the 1DMkIIN in your signature for how many days? And you don't actually have it yet, right? Boys who live in glass lenses should not throw stones!

Even if that glass has a pretty red ring around it!

;)
