I like the abstract BW grainy shot. But to me it might be better if the black boat sillhouettes were lightened up a little - just enough to show the slightest amount of detail to reveal a little better what they are to people who might not see.

I like the first shot. I do see some vignetting in the corners but, you can remove that in PS. Do you vignette at 17 with that 5D? Just curious because I'm looking to purchase one in the future. Thanks.

I really like the 1st one , i would rather have the camera tilted down a bit for more fg and less blue sky,but thats just me.

Vignetting in 1st shot is due to using a Circular Polariser. With a standard thickness filter , no vignetting occurrs ( some light fall off though , to be expected)

I really like that first shot, wouldn't change a thing. I'd've showed more of the point on the second shot and zoomed it out a bit more so you can get an idea at the size of the peninsula/island that you're looking at there. The shot that you posted makes it look like the side of a deep puddle or something.

Me too...

Perhaps wait for the rocks to get a little spray on them as well?

Nice shot though. I see vignetting :)
