After a full lifetime (well, almost 40 years now) of perfect eyesight, I'm finding myself gradually finding it hard to read printed word. Last night, when I was on the throne, I was finding it very hard to read the small print of my history book in the somewhat subdued lighting. I'm also finding that I don't have much of an attention span when I'm reading other books as well - I have to admit that I can't read writing at a distance I could do easily several years ago.
So, I guess I'll have to go in for a sight test (never found I needed to do once since I had the mandatory one at school).
It's a strange feeling, I've always taken my good eyesight so much for granted, never really thought that it might start failing me.
.... No, go. eye doctors are nice guys.. Aside from the part where they dialate your eyes I like them. and glasses can be entertaining change your look up. I've heard they make you look smarter.. not sure if I believe that. But, mostly it's about your vision trust me when you put them on and everything gets sharper and brighter you will really, really like it and wonder why it took you soo long..
