The canon is a great lens, but it looks like his stuff was all at 12mm......so it would be one of the others. As I said I really like the 10-22, as a matter of fact I just bought a 10-22 & 30D to use it with...........HOWEVER I also just picked up a Sigma 12-24 and honestly I think I am going to cancel the 30D (because it's not here yet) and return the 10-22. I'm really happy with the Sigma. But also I'm using a Mk2n (1.3) and I can't use the 10-22........but it's a real close call......sometimes I thing the Sigma is sharper, however you can't use a front filter on it. But as far as build goes I think the Sigma is built better than the Canon. Of course your losing 2mm, but if you have any plans of going full frame or 1.3 I would say it's a very wise investment, considering you can't use the 10-22 on either of those.

7D ......waiting on the 5D3

Thanks Toney. No doubt, your stuff is a poster for "Buy the Canon"!

Thinking I'll just wear down on searching and get the sure bet (Canon). Cheers.

I do believe you'd be happy with it Vich and thanks ... ;)

Choosing a lens is such a personal thing. We all have likes and dislikes, needs and wants, and they are hardly ever the same. Having said that I do have the Canon 10-22 and like it a lot. It is my least used lens, but when I use it I really like it.

Bluedog, that first image is incredible. I couldn't stop looking at it. I want to go back there!
