I bought a 358 and it works fine - I did not look at a 208...

I just bought a 358 about two weeks ago and I have learned a lot using it. I love it and it is not very hard to use. I got it because I wanted to trigger some Pocket Wizards. with it as well.

i use my l-308 with my view camera and all my lights. does a good enough job for me.

Buy new or from a trusted friend - don't get taken to the cleaners.

That's how it was when I ordered too. I was ready to pay $259 and when it was in my cart it became $239. That was also the current price at Amazon if I recall. Not sure why they 'hide the sale price'.
