Hi,
I'm new at this forum and also in the Canon world as I just buy a 30D and a 400mm f5.6 lens. I send those pictures as a kind of introduction of myself. I do most exclusively bird and nature photography. Picture are taken in my backyard in Montreal with nikon material: D80 with 300mm af-s f4 and Tc 14. This not Canon stuff but a picture it's a picture.

Welcome to Canon and POTN, Avan!

Outstanding shots, I love them both! I like the contrast of that cute, soft Kinglet sitting on that thorny branch. And the Cardinal's pose, color and detail are just phenomenal :)
