Maceo and KDTU was excellent. I had thought Maceo was just opening, but it was a true double bill with each band playing for about 90 minutes. After Maceo's set I could have left and felt like I'd gotten my fill, but KDTU killed as well.

I heard it was questionable in Woostah as well. Can't blame them for that when there are seats behind the stage. Maceo and KDTU must have been one funky gig.

i met the house shooter for BP when i was at Terminal 5 two Sundays ago. Nice person :D

I love shooting at T5. Great size pit and the stage is the perfect height. The red and blue LEDs can be a challenge.

BP uses a bunch of house photogs since they have so many venues and ever more events they promote at places like Radio City, MSG, etc. Seems like I am going to pick up a bunch of their Jersey shows, and NYC shows when I want them and they are available.

Gorillaz on Saturday night, there is a slim chance I'll be covering Bon Jovi tomorrow night.

No Sleep Til Festival next Friday - Megadeth, GWAR (who I can't wait to shoot), The Descendents, Dropkick Murphys and heaps more.

Tonight, The Mariachi Divas in a Very Mariachi Christmas concert. Shot them once before about five years ago and they wanted to license back images but their lawyer was so anxious to show off that she wrote so many strings into the agreement that I lost interest.

Make sure to exposure compensate for Jon's teeth, Richard. I kid...not really! You could light a small venue off those choppers.

very late approval for Bert Jansch last night...Neil Young's wife Pegi opened, and had Rick Rosas of Neil's band playing w/ her, along w/ Spooner Oldham. There was a massive bus parked outside, and since Neil had chosen Bert to open his solo tour this year, I was hoping that Shakey was actually on hand and would make a guest appearance.

no such luck.

but still, a great show from Bert.

edit - looks like NYC got lucky!
