richard, that lineup looks to be choked w/ bad emo bands (kinda redundant, innit?) but definitely check out Baroness. they are a good band to shoot and the last record was really strong.

Thanks Tim, I'll put 'em on the list. There is some great stuff there though - FNM should be fun and Janes Addiction are one of my fave bands of the late 80s/90s (who I've never seen live), Clutch are awesome and Eagles of Death Metal are heaps of fun.

i saw Janes a couple of times in the early 90s, they always put on a good show (regardless of how navarro and farrell are irritating off the stage). i've not seen EoDM; they are QoTSA related, right?

EoDM is Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme (and other random people)...it grew out of the Dessert Sessions I believe.
