The problem is that the way the foreground gradates to dark adds depth. That makes it hard to crop in that if up cropped from the bottom up too much, you would lose that effect. /Dan Website

That makes it hard to crop in that if up cropped from the bottom up too much, you would lose that effect. /Dan I think you right on about minimizing cropping from the bottom because it adds depth to the picture, it didn't look right when I tried cropping the bottom it but maybe I went to far. The sky above the clouds was very plain so that's why it was cropped out.
