Would you pass if you didn't care for the location?

I hope you're talking about people who are "ugly" on the inside...

The exclamation mark was a hint that my English sense of humour was out and about ;)

I know of one place I won't shoot again. Stained and/or missing ceiling tile, floor to ceiling mirrors lining the entire walls, faded & stained carpet, etc.

Wow, that sounds pretty crappy. I don't know if I want to shoot again where I shot yesterday (unless it was reception only). It was the darkest place I've ever shot at, with ugly colored walls and nothing interesting about it. I shot 1600 wide open, with flash, and still couldn't get a lot of the shots. It was super cramped inside, but there was absolutely nowhere to take pics outside. Luckily I had my B800, or else I wouldn't have been able to do formals. Doesn't sound nearly as bad as the place you mentioned, but I just had to complain.

If the client and I don't mesh well, or I guess the location, it can do more harm than good. I TRY to get excited about all my work, but when I'm not, my creativity level goes down...and it shows. If I click with the couple I'll do it and make it work. I live in Corpus Christi, TX.. and it's ugly here!
