Need help with batch processing please

I have about 500 jpgs i want to run a short action on (curves, contrast, usm, etc..), but i can't figure out how to put it all together. Is there a tutorial, or maybe someone can get me started in reading up on it?

I did about 3 advanced searches, and didnt find anything so far. ill keep looking.

(edit) I have CS2, and am really looking to automate the whole process, open, action, save, close, loop

Just open the first image, go to the actions palette in PSCS2, click the arrow in the top right, select 'new action'. Then do the 'curves, contrast, usm, etc' bit.
Click 'stop recording'.
Use the image processor (in Bridge ->Tools -> Photoshop -> Image processor) to run the action on all files and sabve them in a sub folder. That way you'll keep the original files...

Also, have a look on Russel Browns site. Some nice tutorials there...

Ahh that helps alot, i ran a little test, and i did it (it still needs alot of work).
