Hi,

DSLR's do cost a lot of money, and I'm sure they can be accidentally left somplace. Does anyone use those sticky lables which ask a finder to telephone a 1-800 number and find out who the owner is? Has anyone lost equipment and has it returned becasue of having these stickers?

Thanks,
~Dom

The chances are that some druggie would see that camera and think "that'll buy my next fix".

Having said that, there are a lot more honest people than dishonest around. I think a sticky label might be a good idea. Perhaps put your name and cellphone number on it rather than putting your address - unless you want to put a PO box number. It couldn't hurt!

Just not sure where it'd fit on the typical DSLR. The real estate's pretty well cluttered with controls. I don't think using them would present any more risk than hauling the gear around without them. I've thought about sticking an address label on; got to do something with the dozens of sheets we get every year in the mail! I do put an address label on my laptops - there's a bit more space on them.
