My wife decided she wanted to try out "our" camera, The first thing she wanted to try was this scenery shot. C & C welcome. If she keeps at it I'll get her to join this forum so she can post under her name. thanks for looking. Any ideas on a different crop maybe?

Excellent composition. Nicely done for a first time image. Get her started, she seem to have an eye for this stuff.

Hey, that's a nice shot! Maybe you should invest in another camera before the squabbles start... ( We can't all hold the remote control)
I would love to see just the little boat and reflection cropped down on their own, maybe with a vertical crop that includes the shoreline across the water.
Very interesting photograph!

Wow, really great shot especially for a first shot. I'd also like to see one of just the boat and its reflection.

LOL, at first glance I thought the wife was the fishing boat, but now I get it, it's a photo your wife took not the first photo you took of your wife!

Well tell your wife that she took a great photo and that we hope to see more of her photos.

Nice photo and hopefully your wife will like photography.

My wife is becoming more interested and from time to time she will go with me but she still thinks I'm crazy when I get up in the early morning hours to take photos of a sunrise or birds in flight. She would rather sleep in.

Have fun.

Your wife looks like she has an eye for photography, so get her registered in her name; give her your Rebel; and then you can buy a 5D! ;)

Thanks for the comments and crop advice, I think she is getting the photography bug now, and after seeing a few of you post about giving her the XT and getting myself the 5d she has been asking what a 5d is and how much does it cost, and I know if I tell her how much it cost we'll be looking for a second xt,lol. thanks again.
