Great POTN Book Project Quotes Contest

A long time ago in a Forum far far away, Lord Malone started a thread with the idea of creating a book containing photos from POTN members.

The Great POTN Book Project has officially gone past the idea stage, and is well into the event stage. The Book will be published and probably be available in May.

In order to get photos for The Book we will be having Contests in each of the Shares. Submissions start in early January, and after rounds of voting the winners' photos will be printed in The Book.

We need some famous POTN quotes which will be printed in the book.

There is "editing" and "developing" of digital photographs.

Editing is adding or removing objects in the picture - which I rarely, rarely ever do.

I develop my RAW files, fine tuning exposure, shadows, saturation, contrast, and sharpening. My pictures are certainly real.

Hopefully the Actual public chosing of photographs well get more exposure than this seems to be

Well several googles seems to prove that it is definitely Ansel Adams. I can't make the change in the poll, but it is duely noted and will be changed in the Book if it wins.

Awesome quotes. Obivously many aren't totally appropriate or totally relevant, but alot of great stuff here.

#29 says a lot for a working class photographer, and I could see it in a photography book. It kindof sums up the optimistic, communal, lighthearted, and above all humorous attitude at potn.

i voted for the 3 funniest,,, most obscure ones..... in fact they were so obscure i forget what ones i voted for now...
