First Spotting trip to GLA

Stopped off at Glasgow Airport (International) this morning to take advantage of the sunny weather.

First post of shots in this forum.

1. Loganair Dash-8 : Corrected - G-LGNH (SAAB 340B-333)

All taken from the carpark at the north end of runway.

You did well to get those good shots from the carpark , as the aircraft are well up by that point
5 overflights in the 1 Shot , thats really good going

They were landing from the north, so these were all on final approach to runway 23.

Took the shots from about 100 yards up the private road.

i thought they had provided holes in the crash gates for photographers, but there appears to be large sheets of cladding on them all.

I was caught out by the backlighting , could not work out from where you took them from , another suggestion is the back of the Normandy Hotel , there is a footpath along the bank of the white cart , , very close on approach , so the big lens is,nt great for there, Ive never tried it myself , but I know of one of the locals has

If you go up to gate 3 ,The old Trident gate there are some holes there , that,s the only place , as the CAA knocked back the request for camera solts in the fence
