Checked out Cambags.com? My preference for what you list would be something like the Domke F-4AF or F-2 bag, but I'm known to be a little partial to Domke bags, and have been for as long as they've been out.

I am a fan of lowepro, i thought to myself are they really worth the money, then i bought one- yes they are indeed, i would recommend the all weather version nothing quite like the reassurance in a slight shower.
I now have 2 lowepro bags the mini trekker and the nova 3 both all weather.

the mini trekker is a bit of a pain that it has to come off your backto access and get a lens out etc, but atleast that way you wont accidentally drop a lens on the ground. It suits me but its personal preference in the end.

Happy shopping.

I spent quite some time looking for camera bags as well. I originally wanted one that could hold all the lenses that I'll get in the near future, but realized I would never carry such a large bag as a walkaround bag. I ultimately settled for the Lowepro Nova 1, because I had a Dell coupon and Dell had a limited set of bags available. I'm actually quite happy with it, as it could probably fit my Rebel XTi with attached Tamron 28-75 and a Canon 70-200 F4L, though it'll be a tight squeeze. This bag is probably no bigger than your original though and will not fit an attached grip (maybe if it's separate).

For a larger bag that's cheap, I would probably get the one HuskerTony is eyeing (Canon 2400 (external link), linked for pictures). It actually would cost less than my Nova 1 if I didn't have the Dell coupon.

If I had the money to spend for a larger bag, I'd probably get the Lowepro Slingshot 200 (external link). I like the idea that you can access the camera without having to take off the backpack.

Canon Rebel XTi (400D), Canon 70-200mm f/4L, Tamron f/2.8 28-75mm, Canon f/3.5-5.6 10-22mm, Canon f/1.8 50mm, S-M-C Takumar f/1.4 50mm, Nikon f/1.8 50mm E Series, 2xCanon 430EX, Canon 540EZ, Sunpak 5000AF, Minolta 4000AF, Velbon MAXi, Dynatran CF994

I'm about as partial to Billingham as Jon is to Domke...
That being said; I'd suggest you have a look at Billingham, Domke or maybe Crumpler.

I just got the Lowepro Slingshot 300. It will allow you to carry the 70-200 attached to the camera. If I remember correctly, the Slingshot 200 could not do this. I had been using the Lowepro 75AW for a while as my primary bag. However, the Slingshot 300 has taken over.

I think that you will start to acquire more and more camera bags the longer you remain in photography. There will be specific need bags such as a shoulder bag for general walking around (like the Domke F-2 myself) although I still use the LowePro top load AW75; back pack style (LowePro minitrekker is my most often used for both digital and some medium format) and specific bages for flashes and extra items needed for an indoor shoot (great deal on the LowePro Rezo AW 190). All of this for saying, pick up the bag that most suits your needs and shooting style now but be prepared to make adjustments later.
