Hello all, I've been using my 30d for quite a while here with my kit lens, and since when I bought the 30d and went straight to college, I had no more money to get another lens! Well, I've stumbled across some money (finally!) and am trying to grab another lens to add to my collection of one. ;).

Any good websites out there that are reliable with a decent price for any variety of Canon lens'?

Thanks,
mike

Just to make it clear: if a price listed is to good to be true, there is an almost certain chance that it is, indeed, to good to be true. Really watch out.

Robert's imaging, talk to Jody Grober, he will usually match B&H prices and the service isn't even on the same planet as B&H. He personally drove a rental lens to the airport and got it on the red-eye for me, on a Sunday, so I could have it by Monday morning at 5:00AM, with the A-holes at B&H you'd be lucky if they say "thank you" after placing and order.

Digital photography is a fad.

I like Roberts, but you have to be careful who you deal with. Make sure you deal with Ed or Phillip. The last time I purchased a lens there, I had a very bad experience with Doris, who promised me something she couldn't deliver on. I ordered the Sigma 70-200 and was promised next day service. Then she called to say the lens was backordered for two weeks. A month later when I still hadn't gotten the lens, I called her, and she said she hadn't ordered it because she thought I didn't want it, although I very clearly said I did. I finally got the lens after football season was almost over. Just remember, experiences with the same vendor may vary. All in all, I'll probably deal with Amazon next time. I've never had a problem with them.

I've done business with six of the ten vendors coreypolis listed and have never been disappointed, so that's probably a pretty good list. I would also add Canoga Camera out of LA. Sometimes they can beat B&H prices a few bucks.
