I never got disappointed as with my XT but it did a great job anyway.
I like to spend money thats all.
1DmkII is for sports and some actions, so 1Ds or 5D are Full Frame and you know that.
i know that 5D is smaller baby of 1Dsmk2 but if i will travel i will take 5D and 30D now, so 1Dsmk2 for studio and not living UAE out, 1Dmk2N could be taken to any trip but still it is big for a bag to carry, so i have all collection of cameras if i can choose between them, and i am happy that i can put different lenses on each and no thinking which lens to use with which body.
it is money issue more than photographic issue.

I think you should take pics of every step as you open those babies. I want to see pics of the box when it arrives, of the box being opened, as the bubble wrap being pushed aside, of the camera boxes as they emerge, as they're removed from the brown box, as their being opened, omg, how erotic.

If i bought 30D from online then ok, but i bought it here from local store with about half price of 1DmkN, so no way.
I can do some competition and i can add a prize such as 20D, maybe 30D, 70-200 f2.8 (non IS) or so, but only in UAE.
I can't add the shipping price, only original price of the product without shipping or tax.

I know some friends they maybe will sell thier old bodies like 20D or rebel, maybe i will think to get them to my collection.

Anyway, my dream is to get 1Dsmk2, but i am smart enough not to get it from the beginning, now i can't be more happy, and i am looking to add long primes then i can say: goodbye POTN, sorry i mean goodbye more gears.

(I shot a chicken with my 1D and 28/1.8.. although I must confess the chicken was alread 'post processed' in soya sauce and just needed to be microwaved and served..)

mmm, before yesterday i was eating fried chicken, if my order came earlier then i can take shots of it.
I will wait till i can have another fried chicken at home.

Just be sure to share some pics....if they are half as good as the stuff you have posted so far...we should be in for a treat. Enjoy your new toys...you have waited long enough.

I waited very long time really (1 year), and now i have to go out and shoot whatever i can see or can't see, hehe

New cameras... My first shots are always of my wife and daughter! Shoot it all friend.. and post your best! Most of all, enjoy doing it! Congrats again!

I will test my 1Dsmk2 only with few lenses and i will post pics here.
the weather here is cloudy and raining so the exposure is not so good for most outdoors shots.
Anyway, yesterday i was tired and today if i don't get busy then i will post pics here.

I can take photos of my wife and kids but they are not so easy to pose as i want, and i can't show pics of my wife due to religious and culture issues, but i will try to post some portraits if i can get of anyone rather than some of my family.
