With the near and far sections being out of focus, the castle has that "model" look to it. Was this your intention? I've also got other Edinburgh threads, and indeed if you search on Edinburgh there are piles of threads from other posters too.

However, to me it seems too contrasty, and some of the darker areas are black, lacking detail. /Dan Website

Thanks. I live in Glasgow but my girlfriend is from the States so every time she has visitors, we head over to show them the sights and of course, the castle. Yeah, I did ramp the contrast up and it seems to have been a wee bit much in places. But thanks for your comments.
