I was out with my father getting a Christmas tree today, and i was taking some shots today with my new 30D, just the 2nd time using it, and when i was shooting, i noticed this small dark grayish spot on the inside of the the middle circle of the AF points. I wasn't sure if that was on the CCD or the viewfinder itself, so when i got home, it didn't appear to be in any of my photos. SO would this be in the viewfinder or the CCD? And how can i blow it away if it's on the viewfinder?

You can't see dust on the sensor when your're taking photos, because it's hidden behind the mirror until you hit the shutter button. If you can see it, it's on either the viewfinder or the foicus screen. The easiest way to remove it is with a Rocket Blower - inexpensive and effective. Search these forums for more information on Rocket Blowers.

Just remove the lens and you'll see the focus screen ;) Use a blower and if you're lucky the spot will dissapear. If not...just get used to it and ignore it.

in the foto you can see the focus scr.

edit
my bad (i'm sleepy :D) in the picture you can see the mirror, the focus screen it's just above. Turn your camera with the flash down and you'll see it ;)
