I like them, they each have their own place. The first one puts me in the mood to watch a zombie movie, haha, it just has that feel about it to me.

I like colour better but I think a few good shots could be had of that water pump in the yard.

The colour one has the edge for me, and the pump silhouette although small and subtle adds a nice element to the composition.

Greetings, I like both of your photos. I do notice the textures in the black and white version more due to the color not being as distracting. You could also take several exposures and blend them in HDR to bring out detail in the sky. Also as an experiment you could get closer to the pump and have the house in the background. However, your compositions are very nice already. KC

Good Call.
I think you need to get back out there soon and grab some of the water pump.
I love old stuff. (As you can tell from my photos)

And yes I enjoy this photo of the Abandoned House.
Good Work.

The B/w works for me but why not try something from the side of the tube well...??? Like a shot going up fro the tube well and covering the house in the background...That might give it a more prominent abandoned look...Just a suggestion :)

Love the color version. What really caught my eye are those boards covering the windows. Really great stuff!

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p
