Hi Everyone! I finally got to use my Lee Filter ND grad today with the combo of the Singh Ray LB Color Combo filter to do this shot of yet again, the Rockefeller Center. I used the .9 soft grad plus Wide Angle lens hood and this is the result. C&C welcome always. Enjoy!

Your subject is just too tough to practice on .. sun in frame etc.
Give yourself a fighting chance and start with something a little less challenging.
Looking forward to more attempts.
All the best.

JD, a slight midtones/gamma tweak would help to give your photo more punch. I would have uploaded a version, but you've not selected the "image editing ok" option. ;)

Well this isn't my first attempt at it Seaborder. I kind of rushed it a bit on my PS editing but here is my first attempt at it in B&W. http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=246386

Great shot, some gamma would give you a little more punch, but great composition.

Hey John! I gave you permission to do an edit on my shot. Since it is difficult to get this shot just right becasue of the sun blaring, I can agree that it was difficult to work with. Thx for crits bcoz I'm still trying to improve my editing skills.

Ok, here you go then! PS There is an option under the user CP to show your edit preferences all of the time.
