Hello,
I am as new as it gets here( first post) and was hoping someone could give me some advise on shooting in overhead to back lit sun lit conditions with a 20d=10-22mm efs
in a sports situation with no camera control. I shoot in the water and have found that these situations my main subject is underexposed...The typical solution would be to just overexpose the image but since i am forced to be shooting in shutter priority i cannot read every situation individually. I know i have a lot of restrictions but any advise would be very usefull!!!
I would ultimateley like to get some exposure on the surfers.
thanks
mike

ps : on these images the iso was at 200?? my accident and all photos were shuttered at 500th and aperture is about 8-16

You could try reducing the in-camera contrast setting. I have my 20D set at "0" in the Parameters and I may use even less inder high contrast situations.

Regards,
Jeff
