At least I had the comfort of being in a hide - these guys (Lapwings) just had togrin and bear it. You can see how heavy the rain is by looking closely at the water.

A nice shot can't help but feel sorry for birds when they get bad weather.
you know the shadow/highlight tool in photoshop is really handy ;)
