Here's sharing a recent capture of a Lanius cristatus, a common migrant to our islands...:)

20D + 500 f/4 L IS + Canon 1.4x TC, 700 mm, 1/500 sec, f/8, ISO 400, manual exposure, bean bag, available light:

Very good contrast between bg and bird as it makes the Brown Shrike standout. Nicely posed and exposed as well. Very good job Romy.

Mitch, I'm beginning to really like the bean bag.... I've never learned to use a monopod well, but the BB works nicely for me.
